It was founded in 2021 in the rich avocado growing region of Gatanga in Murang’a county Kenya. Beyond the avocado exporting enterprise, Esparn Gruppe owns medium scale avocado orchards, growing high quality Hass and Fuerte avocados in the highlands of central Kenya since 1990. We nurture these orchards week in & week out and harvest by hand allowing us to bring you the best quality produce that contains all the goodness, nutrition, taste, flavors, and colors. We work closely with hundreds of small-scale farmers in Gatanga, Kandara and Kigumo region of central Kenya. This region produces the highest number and best quality Hass Avocados in Kenya. We empower our contract farmers with knowhow to grow the best handpicked avocados through integrated cropping systems. All our products can be traced back to respective producer – be it our own orchards or the out-grower schemes, the garden and batch.

We grow our avocados organically upholding all the facets of Good Agricultural Practice. We supplement our produce with small scale farmers (contract farmers) enrolled in our scheme who grow the fruits as per our strict guidance and standards. We empower the small-scale avocados farmers with education on agronomic practices including integrated pest management and post-harvest handling of fruits.
